FAITH FORMATION
REGISTRATION FORMS for RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEXT YEAR have gone out in the mail.  If you have a child for elementary religious education or a child in high school (those in public and private schools) and did not receive a registration form, please contact the Faith Formation Office this week.  Registration forms need to be filled out and returned as soon as possible.  In the elementary grades, classes are filled in the order in which forms are returned.  If you have a preference for a particular day for class, please note that some classes fill up very quickly
CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD - We will not have Children's Liturgy of the Word today, Palm Sunday, or next week, Easter Sunday.  We will begin it again on Sunday, April 11.
JUNIOR YOUTH GROUP - The next meeting of the SMS Junior Youth Group will be held April 11, from 1:30-3:30 in the parish center.  Our theme for the meeting is Team Spirit, come dressed with, something from your favorite team or sport.  We'll have games and decide on upcoming projects.  See you there!!
ADULT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY PARET (Adult Education Team for SMS-ST. Gabriel cluster parishes) will offer an evening presentation on LITURGY by Fr. Michael Miller on Thursday, April 22, 1999.  Flyers with more information and a registration tear off section are available at all of the church entrances.

SMS DA Y CARE SUMMER PROGRAM - SMS Day Care will have a summer program for students entering Grade 1 or Grade 2 in the Fall of 1999.  The program will be held from June 28-August 20 of 1999 (no day care July 12-16 due to Vacation Bible School), 7:30am-5:30pm.  Cost is $120/week.
Registration for program will be held in the school March 1-19, 1999, 7:30am-2:00pm.  Call 355-3080 for an appointment or information.  Counselors also needed - call for interview.

SPRING FASHION SHOW & LUNCHEON will be sponsored by the Christ Child Society of Albany on Saturday, April 10, 1999 at 12:00 noon at the Holiday Inn/Turf, Wolf Rd., Albany.  Elisa Streeter from WTEN-TV 10 NEWS will narrate the Fashion Show, featuring clothing from Casual Corner Group, Inc.  Tickets for the buffet luncheon and fashion show are $17.50. For reservations, please call (518) 355-8414.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit needy infants and children of the Capital District.
